We live on the Oregon coast where it
rains most of the winter,
after having a Cocker
Spaniel and a Pekingese for
18 years, we decided that
our next dog would be a wash
and wear one. No more
grooming of long haired
dogs.
After much research, and
meeting a few of these funny
little dogs, we decided on
the French Bulldog. We
purchased our first one from
Moscow Russia in
2001. Libby is a pied, and
quite a character. After
several failed attempts at
finding a stud dog to breed
to Libby, due to an
overwhelming prejudice of
imported dogs, we decided to
purchase our own
male. Logan joined us in
2004. He is our pride and
joy, and the ruler of the
house and our king sized
bed! After two failed
attempts at having a litter
of puppies, we had to have
our Libby spay for health
reasons.
In 2004 a beautiful black
brindle girl, Jewel, came to
live with us. She and Logan
are now in the show ring and
doing very well for
themselves. Just recently
another girl, Eva, a black
mask fawn, came to us from
Michigan, she is enjoying
the rain instead of knee
deep snow! When she is
ready she will join Jewell
and Logan in the show ring.
