No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, but only the Father. As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. For in the days of the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, right up to the day Noah entered the ark; and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. Two will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left. Two women will be working; one will be taken and the other left. Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come. But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would of kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into. So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you least expect him just like the thief in the night. Matthew 24:36-44

I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and makes war. His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no one else knows but he himself. He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God. The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean. Out of his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. "He will rule them with a iron scepter." He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty. On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS |

And I saw an angel standing in the sun, who cried in a loud voice to all the birds flying in midair, "Come, gather together for the great supper of God, so that you may eat the flesh of kings, generals, and mighty men, of horses and their riders, and slave, small and great." Then I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies gathered together to make war against the rider on the horse and his army. But the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who had performed the miraculous signs on his behalf. With those signs he had deluded those who had received the mark of the beast and worshipped his image. The two of them were thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning sulfur. The rest of them were killed with the sword that came out of the mouth of the rider on the horse, and all the birds gorged themselves on their flesh. And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever. Man has been separated from God by sin, but God sent His son Jesus to be the
Christ (saviour) by paying the price for our sin --thereby joining man and God together
again. Here's how it works...
God, being perfect in all of His ways, established certain spiritual
laws. These laws are in effect because of the nature of God. They are based on
the fact that God cannot contradict Himself. They exist simply because of who God is. For
example, God has certain characteristics (such as love, justice, compassion, mercy, etc.)
which are in perfect harmony. Therefore, even though He loves every single human being
equally....he cannot allow His sense of love to supercede his
sense of justice. Even if He wanted, He simply could not
treat the sinner and the saint identically.
The sinner (whom God loves) must still pay for his transgression (sin) in order
for God to treat him the same as someone who has submitted to the will (law) of God. It
would not be fair for God to give a murderer and a social worker the same reward!
So God made a way that even the worst criminal could be forgiven. Rather than
execute the murderer, he found someone else to volunteer to die in the murderer's place.
That person was Jesus. He was the only one acceptable because He had no sin of His own.
The Saint could not feel unjustly treated...for the sinner has not gotten away with
anything without someone paying for his crime. All the sinner has to do is plead guilty
(admit his sin), throw himself on the mercy of the court (ask for forgiveness), and accept
the sentence (Jesus' death) as applying to his crime.
The Prosecution (Satan) tries to get the sentence to apply to the criminal
--claiming that Jesus was not an acceptable substitute. The Judge (God) presides over the
criminal's trial. The Defence Lawyer (Jesus) pleads your case to the judge --claiming you
are free from guilt. Not because you have not committed the crime, but because He has
already served the sentence!
This is the plan of salvation for every sinner. It's up to you whether you apply
it to your life by accepting Jesus as your saviour! I pray you do right now...
It's easy. Just block out everything and put your mind and thoughts on God. Ask
Jesus to come into your heart and make you free from sin. Ask him to forgive your past
transgressions, and promise to try not to sin again. Ask Father God to accept you as
forgiven for Jesus sake, and to make you a new creation!
